Chupa Cabra House started life in 1995 under the name Chupa Cabra Records. Chupa Cabra Records released dozens of really lo-fi, really weird albums and tapes(remember tapes?)off and on until they decided to quit fucking around and released BLUNTSWORTH- DIRTY SIDE OF THE CITY in 2007. The record sold low numbers of physical copies, but hundreds of gigabytes of the album were distributed quickly around the world, due to the utilization of the P2P community, bit torrent technology in particular.

In 2008 Chupa Cabra House was formed as an actual business entity. Soon after, they released a solo album from TIMM TAYSHUN that sounded a lot like hip hop. This album has done particularly well on the Torrent sites and P2P services, and an estimated half a million copies have been downloaded so far.

This is the first "pro" release by BLUNTSWORTH, even though there were only a few hundred hard copies made, featuring spray painted artwork on the actual Cd's and the Kinko's special for the insert. They looked horrible, and some might argue that the sound is as well. Nonetheless, this was an regional underground hit, selling few, but sharing thousands and thousands on the internet and at shows.
